We recently discovered ThingLink, and we think it’s worth sharing. ¬†ThingLink is a web tool that allows you to annotate images with links that appear when you hover your mouse over it. ¬†In some ways, it is similar to an image map you might create in html, but this interface is so easy to use, there is no coding required.

I have used ThingLink to add some Australian Curriculum-related resources to our PD logo, but it could be used in any number of circumstances; labelling systems in Human Biology, labelling advertisements in English, linking to political situations in world maps, or just sharing resources with colleagues.
