In my work, I often get the reputation of being “the computer guy” or a bit of a gadget nerd. The fact that I wear a watch I backed on Kickstarter and I’m usually working between at least two devices probably adds to that reputation, but I maintain that it’s a little bit off the mark.
I am however a bit of a geek when it comes to installing little bits of software on my computer that run in the background & do little bits of running around for me. Between Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive for storage, Caffeine, Camouflage & Air Display for managing my desktop & screen settings, and having my Keyboard Viewer on hand to indulge the language buff in me, the Menu Bar on my Mac can get a little bit crowded. Especially when I plug into a projector that throws my screen to a different size.
This is where Bartender comes in. I can set up a little sub-menu to store my apps & icons so they’re on hand when I need them. Check it out.
