Esmeralda Pang BEd(Prim) ECowan
Esmeralda is a Professional Development Co-orindator at Winthrop Australia, based in Perth. Since joining Winthrop Australia in January 2016, she has facilitated professional development workshops focusing on integrating technology with the curriculum and she coaches classroom teachers to build their fluency and independence with technology.
Prior to joining Winthrop Australia, she taught for 10 years in primary and secondary schools across Western Australia. She held positions both in the classroom and at an administrative level. Esmeralda’s integrated technology approach to cross curricular educational programs drove her to create lessons that would prepare her students for their future, and now she shares her expertise in this area with other teachers. She became a Microsoft Innovative Educator in 2016 and an Apple Professional Learning Specialist in 2017.
Seyhan CorrProfessional Development Coordinator
Seyhan has been a teacher for more than 12 years across sectors and in International Baccalaureate (IBO) schools. With a positive and practical outlook and a passion for inquiry based learning informed by meaningful education technology integration, Seyhan has recently returned to his native Perth and is working in schools across Western Australia.
Seyhan has relished implementing successful whole school professional development programmes across Primary and Secondary learning environments. Formulating a shoulder-to-shoulder staff development model based on continuity, practicality and adaptability has enabled Seyhan to successfully build independence and confidence in staff working in their very own learning and teaching environments.
Not only a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) and member of the International Society for Technology Educators (ISTE), Seyhan keeps his finger on the pulse of Project Based Learning, Visible Learning and Design Thinking approaches to learning to inform SCASA and ACARA curriculum goals for teachers in their context. Further, he has aided in the development of Scope and Sequence documentation for whole school implementation.
Seyhan is motivated by seamless integration of educational technology in a win-win context.
