Extreme Multitasking

A couple of weeks ago, I missed out on my early morning run. I decided to instead go for a run in the afternoon, taking my usual companions of iPhone, arm strap for the phone (with headphones of course), and our Siberian Husky. Already I was experiencing what I believe is amazing technology; listening to a live feed of music from across the country (Triple J), tracking my coordinates, calories, pace, [...]

Wix – just another website builder?

I'm sure if you surfed the web for 'website creation/builders', Google would spit back millions of hits and an endless supply of possibilities. Wix, however, popped up on my FaceBook feed a few days ago and I thought it would be worth sharing. Granted, it's worth giving students the experience on industry standard platforms, and depending on what you are trying to achieve and [...]

Dropbox for iOS update.

The latest iOS update for Dropbox is very nice indeed.  One of my greatest criticisms of previous iterations of the app, was the clunkiness of the "upload' procedure.  This has been rectified in the update, and we can now upload directly to whatever folder we have open at the time.
