Technology is forever advancing and adapting for a multitude of purposes. Within many classrooms today, there are already Interactive whiteboards, laptops, tablets, big screens and more. Now we are beginning to introduce robotics to our classrooms.
Sphero provides opportunities for teachers and students alike to learn more about coding and how it fits within the realm of Digital Technologies when integrated into the classroom. Stay tuned to find out about the Sphero workshops that will be run later this term. In the meantime, feel free to follow his adventures on Instagram on @winthrop_gadgets
In the 3 hour workshop, teachers will learn how to integrate activities using Sphero with links to cross-curricular Learning Areas in the Australian Curriculum, using hands-on activities. Workshop participants receive a Sphero as part of workshop registration.
