Esmeralda is a Professional Development Co-orindator at Winthrop Australia, based in Perth. Since joining Winthrop Australia in January 2016, she has facilitated professional development workshops focusing on integrating technology with the curriculum and she coaches classroom teachers to build their fluency and independence with technology.

Since joining Winthrop Australia in January 2016, she has facilitated professional development workshops focusing on integrating technology with the curriculum and she coaches classroom teachers to build their fluency and independence with technology.
Prior to joining Winthrop Australia, she taught for 10 years in primary and secondary schools across Western Australia. She held positions both in the classroom and at an administrative level. Esmeralda’s integrated technology approach to cross curricular educational programs drove her to create lessons that would prepare her students for their future, and now she shares her expertise in this area with other teachers. She became a Microsoft Innovative Educator in 2016 and an Apple Professional Learning Specialist in 2017.
