News from bitly

We have been using bitty.com for some time now, usually for their url shortening service. A re-vamp of bitly has seen a lot of features added as they branch out into the realm of social bookmarking.
A (free!) bitty account now gives you access to apps for your PC, Mac or other mobile device which enable you to save your bookmarks on the go. Bitly also gives you the option to categorise your “bitmarks” into “bundles” and share them through email and social media.
A potentially interesting factor is the way bitly monitors the success of bitmarks you share. This was only launched today, but it could have the potential to be a great networking tool.
